ManiK Chand ko badehi pyar se khaane wala Mr maneesh, A 32 year old challenging personality I have ever met.
He was the only person who ever wished me without knowing. When we reached kagaz nagar suddenly he was asking my opinion to start recharge card sales in trains (illegally). I was first surprised then realized the importance of having them in trains.
Mr Maneesh started counting the profit and involved Chay wala saththees(Sathish). From then I initiated discussion and it went on and on till Nizamuddin .We shared our opinions on Life style at Hyderabad, he was really satisfied with respect he received from the people of AP.
Suddenly my eyes pointed a beautifully crafted logo” THE FOTO FACTORY” on his T-shirt. Then I realized manic chand ka zadooo...
Yes MC (manic chand) has a great role behind his successful story). Manish started “ mera nam manes hai jee mai dillee ka rahne wala hoo” .... Am a photographer
He belongs to a poor UP based family which carried unfortunate as their family member, lost his mother at very early ages and was failed twice in 9th mathematics. His school principal and his father felicitated him joining at UP SETJEE.
Maneesh recollected his first maarpeet experience when he failed to achieve his owner’s target. But was giving all the credit to his owner .He shared his experience when he was given 300 rupees to buy new cloths after 6 months of continuous work .
Then owner joined him in an institute which brought a lot of change in his language and approach and which actually lead him to think independent. After two years of continuous work and with his contacts he got an opportunity to work with DD1’s HELLO INSPECTOR Serial under PRIME CHANNEL.
HE continued in the same channel for 4 years then fined his job boring, but realised the importance of a technician in making an ordinary man to a hero character. He says “STAR ko bantha koin hai aur banega kaise, main samaz chukahoo “
He was inspired by Ramgopal verma’s film factory and started an unofficial company Photo factory.
I was a bit unsure about what he was saying and thought he was just faking .I posed him a question to know the registration process. He again surprised me with the exact procedures and available four types of registrations (I was aware of the process earlier). He made Delhi as a head office and spread his offices in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Mumbai. He continued with 2 types of registrations where first one refers to not to have the same company name in photography field and second one includes avoiding the other field to have the same company name.
I showed him my favourite book “CONNECT the DOTS” written about the non MBA entrepreneurs by rashmi bansal , He just glared on the INDEX and recollected his memories working for THE KABAB PLAZA’s logo design and photography.
Photo factory’s main objective in Manish opinion” har chees me Brand hai sirf Photography me nahi hai” and his factory’s goal is to give quality of albums to all clients who are ready to spend money from 2000Rs to 43, 00,000Laks (Bangalore marriage). He was defining BRAND as “ brand woh hotahi jo har aadmee ko kaam ayega ,has given an example of COLGATE ( which is used by common man as well as karodepathi)”.Says” Photo factory will never say no to anybody from any place and will charge no additional charges” . Started an office at his home and appointed his younger brother as executive. Clients used to register with the executive and then they used to initiate their process.
Photo factory acquired a waste number of photo studio contacts all over India. They trained some young people from localities like old city in Hyderabad.
Their first contract was to make visiting card for all the lodgings in Delhi. This gave him an initial inspiration to expand his branches. As Manish was un educated he became concerned towards helping the UNPAD .One very good quality I liked about him was he never printed his name in visiting cards and will accompany his team as a normal photographer.
Now photo factory hired 150 tenth and Inter failed students from Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad
Four year old Factory now earning 5.6 lakhs as its quarterly profit and have future plans to expand in 28 cities in India. I dint revealed his secrete to have that much contacts all over India. (I saw Redin Digital colour Lab Contact number).
I know it is very difficult to be patient to achieve uniqueness and quality in work but it is possible if we have defined plans. Apart from the photo factory history he shared his views in political and communal problems in India. He particularly observed one community’s traditions which do not allow women to work.
Manish also proved that he is not bothered with the communal and secular traditions as he married to a Hyderabad Muslim girl. He shared his happiness in bringing up his lovely baby child and our conversation ended at hazrath nizamuddin station. We ended up with sharing mobile numbers am.
